Bantu People Movement exists to awake ourselves and others to the reality of our true bantu identity.

Bantu people are a peculiar group of people from the Niger and Congo region, they are the biggest population in sub Sahara Africa.

Bantu descendants are now scattered across the globe, without knowledge of themselves, some even deny that they are not bantus.

Especially in the diaspora, one day our children shall ask us questions of where we come from and if we have no knowledge of our roots, we will have nothing to tell them.

We aim to hear all bantu descendents saying I am bantu, I am the embodiment of my ancestors and my creator. We aim to see all bantu descendents being proud of who they are, where they come from.

We intend to use Arts, to convey our message to young people of Africa.

We aim to instill it into them that our bantu ancestors were no primitive and naive, they were respected people who had a way of life, they called it Ubuntu. They taught their children that we are because of others, when one is happy, we are all happy, same applies when one is sad we are all sad. This was their philosophy on life.

We aim to teach Ubuntu to you and your children, let them know that their ancestors were advanced in moral values and spiritual aspirations.

I am bantu is what we aim to instill in you and your children Arts, theatre and dance.

Those who know where they are coming from, they will know where they are going.
